My name is Samantha and I have an addiction. An addiction to books, that is. After freshman English, my world completely changed. I'd never been a big reader. I could only do it if I was REALLY interested in a book. But, my veiws compeltely changed and I couldn't stay out of a library or book store. A book was always with me. Then summer came. I have to admit I'd already tried a little writing at the end of my English class. We had just read Romeo and Juliet and I'd wondered what it would be like if I changed the ending. But, back to more important things, with summer brought my sudden extreme desire to write. I didn't know where it came from but I suddenly knew that was something I'd always be a part of. The writing world. It's hard, definitely not easy, but not something I'll ever give up. It's hard for me to find time to write and read as much as I'd like. I'd do it every minute of my life if I could. And I'd be happy.
But aside from that little story, I'm a pretty unique person. Ever since I was little I've always loved animals and want to work with them. I'm not a people watcher I'm a people listener. Even my name means "listener". :)
I'm a Leo, a senior, 17, strongly opinionated but extremely open-minded (weird combination, right?), a great friend, mostly quiet and shy, like video games, I like thinking about life and strange things. Dreams, space, the world in general, myths and legends, anything out of the ordinary fasinates me. I'm also currently in the process of joining the U.S. Army and am a proud future-Soldier.
