Story of the Rose is my new sperate blog where each post follows a storyline and is a continuation of the last. Basically it is a novel but instead of seperated into large chapters, it is seperated by posts. I'm just getting it started and hope I get some followers, so if you would be so kind I'd love for you to at least take a look and give some feedback!

Here's a synopsis for Story of the Rose.
Lym lives with her grandmother on a large plot of land far away from any city. Her grandmother, Aleigha, has always told Lym she has a gift with nature, a gift for gardening. Ever since Lym was little shes been helping her grandmother nurse the beautiful garden outback and can't ever see a world beyond the magical place.
Little does Lym know, the garden is in fact magical, and so is she. Lym is an elf, but not just any elf- She's the great granddaughter of current Elf Queen Nyath, her own grandmother's mom. Lym is suddenly forced back inside her true home that she was taken from and into a life she's not sure she even wants.
Sure, there may be a few perks- like her protector and guide Kanitae, a male elf sentry assigned to retreive Lym and bring her back to the elf city Havan. Then theres Lis- a butterfly that can communicate with Lym via her thoughts. Lym isn't sure how long it will take her to get used to the connection, but sometimes shes thankful for it.
But no good can come without the bad- and with the Darklings, the evil elf race, trying to steal the throne by ending the royal family and taking over as well as the drama of her return, there seems to be a lot of it.
